How much does it cost to publish a book?
The cost of publishing a book can vary from hundreds to thousands of dollars. But at Biblion Publishing, we make it simple so that you retain all rights to your book!
Our initial setup fee is $425 to receive your ISBN. Additional cost for printing books, depend on the following factors:
1. The number of books you would like to order (50, 100, etc) .
2. If you require book cover design
2. Shipping Cost will be dependent upon your mailing address
4. Taxes are based on item costs
Will I have help with designing my book’s cover?
Whew! You are at the end of your writing journey; but oh, wait, you don’t have a book cover designed or know where to start. It’s ok because our partnership with design experts are here to help with these things.
Should I include images in my manuscript?
Preferably No. You should reference images with an insert tag and the file name of the image. For example: Where you want the photo of yourself to appear in the book, you would type ‹insert – Me.jpg›
In what format should images be provided?
It is preferred that images be provided in CMYK JPEG format at the dimension they should appear in the finished book with a resolution of 300 dpi or higher.
Do I need an LLC to publish a book?
You do not need an LLC to publish a book. You might choose to create an LLC somewhere down the road of your writing career, but it’s not a necessity to publish. Often, writers find that what they might gain from having an LLC isn’t exactly worth the cost.
However, you will want to make sure that you copyright your book. Copyright registration ensures that you are the legal owner of your work and protects you in case litigation presents itself in the future.
